Matthias Paper needed some upgrading done with minimal changes.

The main project was paint and carpet selections, for hallways, reception, conference room, lunch areas and bathrooms.  We expanded the scope by upgrading the look of the reception area and artwork

 

Reception

We accented the wall behind the reception desk with a deep intense blue. We added the Matthias Paper logo in gold letters that stood out behind the deep blue. 

 

The reception desk were drywall panels that we covered with cherry wood panelling to give some richness to the room. 

 

The carpet was a large square pattern that gave dimension to the room. One of the challenges was that the front of the building was the office but yet, the back area was the warehouse which would track dirt. So we needed something that would mask that as the previous carpet was a speckled carpet, the dirt was easily seen. 

We selected a large square pattern carpet that not only gave dimension to the room but also solved the dirt look issue. 

We coordinated the hallways with the same color but a smaller scale of square pattern. 

 

Lounge Area

When walking into the reception area. There existed no furniture so you walk into a large space with no sense of welcoming. 

We added a sofa, 2 lounge chairs and rich cherry coffee table and end tables that coordinated with the new reception desk. 

 

Conference Room

The conference we selected new carpet that was a soft blue and tan squares that gave the room some richness. The existing conference room furniture was a beautiful cognac wood finish that went beautifully. We added paint to the room and artwork.
